Beach Style Idea: Pink Wednesdays inspired by Mean Girls

meangirls_wearpink

We recently read this article by Thought Catalog the other day and  just realized that the movie Mean Girls was actually screened in 2004  – which therefore makes it 10-years-old and had us think whoa! time seriously flies! We’re gettin’ old yo! 😛

So combining that nostalgic effect together with our weekly Beach Style Idea, we decided to dedicate today’s post to the movie Mean Girls with this very pink outfit idea for your next beach trip. Inspired by the very famous quote, “On Wednesdays, we wear pink”  by the very ditzy but awesome Karen Smith (played by talented actress Amanda Seyfried), this outfit is  for all you fans of the movie and of course, the color pink!

The outfit features these cute cat-eye sunglasses by Ellery, pink and glitter nail polish by Deborah Lippman, natural lip butter from Korres, phone cover by Wet Seal, sandals from Saturday, PINK bag by Victoria’s Secret,  kimono cardigan by Air Resort Swimwear and one piece by Maidenlove. We’re pretty sure Regina George would approve. Wouldn’t you agree? 😉

Got a beach style theme you’d like to suggest? Leave us your ideas in the comments section! In the mean time, stay tuned for next week’s outfit!
